Auscript backs the future of family law

Auscript has supported the future of Australia’s family law industry by sponsoring the Queensland Law Society’s (QLS) Family Law Residential on the Gold Coast this week.

Court recording and transcription firm, Auscript, sponsored the keynote address by Chief Justice of the Family Court of Australia, the Honourable Chief Justice Diana Bryant AO, on adapting to the changing legal landscape.

Auscript General Manager Kate Gaske said the keynote address focused on the possibilities for future advancements in the family law sector.

“The Family Law Residential is widely regarded as the premier event for family lawyers. Our sponsorship of this event was a strong fit as we are committed to working with this sector to drive improvements in the way in which they use the court record,” Ms Gaske said.

“Quality and reliability of the court record are paramount to the efficient functioning of the court system. We are committed to driving innovation in this space to ensure increased access to a precise record – when and where users need it.”

Approximately 400 specialist delegates attended the 2016 QLS Family Law Residential at the Sheraton Mirage on the Gold Coast.

Auscript has held the exclusive contract for providing digital recording and transcription management services in the Family Court of Australia and Federal Circuit Court of Australia since 2009.
