Supporting future justiceJessika Marek
Auscript and For The Record (FTR) are proud to announce we will be supporting the Australasian Institute of Judicial Administration’s (AIJA) Future Justice 2018 being held in Brisbane from 24–26 May.
As part of our support, it is with privilege that we are sponsoring The Right Hon Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, the former Lord Chief Justice, Head of the Judiciary England and Wales and President of the Courts of England and Wales to speak on Transforming the Justice System.
In his keynote address, Lord Thomas will cover the use of technology in dispute resolution and litigation in England and Wales. He will examine the consequences for dispute resolution and litigation of the move to modern digital technology, including the potential for radical procedural reform and the better use of data and other information to assist in earlier dispute resolution.
This premier event for Judicial Administration in Australia and the Asia Pacific region will explore drivers for change in the courts – globalisation and the increase in cross-border disputation, emerging AI technologies and increasing expectation for timeliness, lower cost and greater convenience – all defining future access to justice in a rapidly changing world.
If you’re attending the conference be sure to visit the Auscript | FTR team at booth 1 and learn more about how we are supporting greater access to justice by setting the global standard in digital court recording and transcription.
