How to order a transcript
Crown Court transcripts can be quickly and easily ordered two ways:
- Order a transcript online through MyAuscript, our secure ordering portal.
- Order by downloading and completing the EX107 Form.

Payment
For Parties to Proceedings and Interested Parties, payment of the full amount estimated (deposit) is required prior to the commencement of transcript production, unless you are an Account Customer. Payment can be easily made by direct deposit, credit card or BACS* transfer. For Ministry of Justice orders, the agency will be invoiced for services.
Please note: the Court is required to approve some transcripts (and all Judgments) before they can be released to you. The time taken for the approvals process is beyond our control, but we will work with you to expedite this process as much as possible.
*BACS payments received after 5:30pm will be processed the next business day.

Who can request a transcript?
A transcript can be ordered by anyone, however there are occasions when the Court’s permission to obtain a transcript is required. You will be advised of that requirement, should the need arise.
Delivery Turnaround Timeframes
For Crown Court proceedings heard within the South East jurisdiction, the following turnaround times are available:
- Overnight (24 hours)*
- Within 2 working days*
- Within 3 working days*
- Within 7 working days*
- Within 12 working days*
Turnaround time commences from when we receive both the deposit (for non-Account Customers) and suitable audio.
Please note: There may be a lead time of up to 10+ days for audio recordings in open court in the Crown Court. Please also note that these turnaround times do not apply to any transcript that required the Judge’s approval prior to release (eg Judgments).
